· DEL VALLE – That’s no glow stick, that’s a scorpion! Night is the best time to see scorpions because they glow under ultraviolet light. Let’s use some ultraviolet lights on a night hike in the park to search for scorpions. You’ll love learning about these misunderstood creatures. Great for all ages. 6-8pm, Sunday, October 20th. Meeting at the Visitor Center. There will be some slopes, so bring good sturdy shoes. The hike will be no more than 2.5 miles round trip.
