About The Event

  • Join our Inafa'maolek Hiking Community at DEL VALLE Regional Park in Livermore  – That’s no glow stick, that’s a scorpion! Night is the best time to see scorpions because they glow under ultraviolet light. Let’s use some ultraviolet lights on a night hike in the park to search for scorpions. You’ll love learning about these misunderstood creatures. 
  • Great for all ages. 6-8pm, Sunday, October 20th. Meeting at the Visitor Center. There will be some slopes, so bring good sturdy shoes. Bring water and a snack to enjoy on the hike.  Program occurs rain or shine. Dress for the weather. Bring water and wear close toed shoes.  Call the park for trail access for challenged hikers.  The hike will be no more than 2.5 miles round trip.

Registration is Required. Adult Participation Required. $6 Parking Fee
