



SF Bay Area Pacific Islander Sports & Fitness Hall of Fame
The SF Bay Area Pacific Islander Sports & Fitness Hall of Fame was created to celebrate talented individuals with Pacific Island roots who have excelled in athletics, fitness, and education. We also celebrate organizations that empower Pacific Islander youth to perform exceptionally in athletics, fitness and in education. We acknowledge as Pacific Islanders, our community's achievements are often overlooked and we are empowered to recognize the many contributions and accomplishments of our Pacific Islander role models.
Nominations for 2025 are now closed. To make nominations, please check back in March of 2026.
If you made a nomination in 2025: The 2nd Hall of Fame and winners will receive an award letter and invitation in June to the in-person Inafamaolek.us 2025 SF Bay Area Pacific Islander Sports and Fitness Hall of Fame Award Ceremony at the PI Hut (SALT Association) 150 Executive Park Blvd in San Francisco. Winners will be acknowledged through social media July through October 2025.
The criteria for the selection is as follows:
1. Must have one or more
a. lived
b. worked
c. attended school
d. participated in sports and fitness in San Francisco Bay Area for a minimum of 4 years
2. Must be of Pacific Islander ancestry
3. Submit one letter of recommendation.
4. Provide a list of accomplishments related to sports, fitness and education.
5. Earned a four year degree from an accredited college or university.
6. Organizations/clubs must serve the Pacific Islander Community with a focus on athletics, fitness and education.
