Leadership:
Fa’atasi Youth Services was established in 2011. They taught Samoan language and Polynesian dance classes to >200 youths ages 5-18. In 2021 Fa’atasi focused strictly on physical activities with health & wellness for NHPI Youth.
Legacy:
Many youth that attend Fa’atasi’s services are also students in Bay Area schools. One such student is Iose “Peejay” Iulio. Peejay’s education journey has been in the City. He attributes his education success to the support he has received from Fa’atasi and the community they provided. Peejay graduated from San Francisco State with his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree.
