Håfa Adai!
The annual NSF Navigating Home fellowship program at the University of Guam is designed to support STEM-field participants from Guam who are passionate about marine and environmental science. The long-term fellowship is a yearlong commitment, with a potential start date in January. The program's intent is to reduce the island's "brain drain", and bolster the island's workforce development by encouraging on- and off-island applicants to be home.
Here's what the program offers:
Research Experience: Opportunities to participate in research projects.
Mentorship: Guidance and support from experienced scientists and professionals.
Professional Development: Support for workshops and training.
Community: A growing network of fellow scholars and professionals.
Travel Support: Airfare assistance for off-island participants.
We encourage educators to share this opportunity with their students, recent graduates and networks.
Applications are accepted until all positions are filled. To express your interest, please complete the long-term fellowship form here <https://tally.so/r/meejbe>.
