I love growing my own food and I truly believe it's the way to live a healthy life. We really don't know what's in our food and soil. I saw my dad and mom tend to their plants and plantation and I am carrying on with their alofa(love) and reciprocity of the earth, land.
So let me talanoa with what is currently happening with my guiza garden.
The Romain Lettuce and Kale was started with just a seed back in October 2022. This is my first time growing these veggies. I used store bought soil and fertilizer. I have started to compost to create my own rich soil in an old plastic garbage container and wash bin to reuse items around the yard. The plants are looking great and are ready to be eaten.
