The 11th Annual Chel'u Festival at San Marcos State University took place Saturday, March 25. Local, out if state and Guam agencies and organizations participated in an event displaying CHamoru culture: food, dance, musicians, traditional workshops on coconut carving using a hamyo, weaving using coconut leaves, sakman and guma exhibits, CHamoru vendors selling island wear and most of all gathering as a community in celebration of CHamoru heritage.
